Overview of the "Omayyad Mosque" [postcard].
The mosque was built between year 705 - 715
by Omayyad Caliph Walid and it's one of the
largest in the world [as usually..]
I'm not sure about this... but it says that Johannes the Baptist is burried
in this mosque - or his head....
As usally You're not allowed the wear any shooes
when visiting a mosque.
